On Tour
Recognized as an orchestra of world renown, the OSM is a leading cultural ambassador. The Orchestra boasts a track record of some fifty tours, in addition to numerous concerts in Canada and abroad. On its first European tour in 1962, under the direction of Zubin Mehta, the Orchestra visited Vienna, Paris, Moscow, Kyiv and Leningrad, a first for a Canadian orchestra. Since then, the OSM has performed in China, Japan, South Korea, several European and Latin American countries, and the United States.
